On The Cover: Leopold (Photo by Tom Bradley) Leopold got leprosy many years ago. He finally received the cure for leprosy, but not until he'd suffered permanent nerve damage in his hands and feet. As a result, instead of hands and feet he only has stumps. Leopold makes chairs for a living but he earns barely enough to live. Dr. Jacques Kongawi from American Leprosy Missions visits him to change the dressings on his sores and bring him food and companionship. Because of the stigma of leprosy, Leopold is shunned by his neighbors. Dr. Kongawi brings healing, and hope, in the name of Christ.
